The Weather Channel App is accessed by over a million users in thousands of different locations at the same time. Creating a home screen that could serve all these different segments was a big challenge.

The Weather Channel typically sees low user interaction during sunny days. We saw typical sunny weather scenarios as an opportunity to offer delight and value to users in good times as well as the bad.
